A man stabbed a woman in the back when she rebuffed his advances at a Bronx subway station Wednesday night, cops said.
The 30-year-old victim was speaking with her sister just before 9 p.m. at the Jackson Avenue station, along the 2 and 5 lines, when a man interjected and tried to hit on the pair, police said.
They rejected his advances — prompting him to stab the victim in the back with a
“sharp instrument,” causing a wound that was about 2 to 3 inches deep, cops said.
The woman was taken to Lincoln Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury.
Cops were looking for the suspect Thursday.
