The G.I. Joe: Retaliation publicity tour is well underway, with the film’s UK premiere taking place in London’s Leicester Square last night, following on from red carpet launches in Korea and Australia.
Channing Tatum and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson were among the cast members in attendance, while retired boxer David Haye was among the British celebrities putting in an appearance to rub shoulders with the Hollywood stars.
The trailer – which can be seen here – surfaced more than a year ago, with the film originally due to be released last summer, though it will now hit UK cinemas on March 28th.
Official synopsis: The G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardise their very existence.
