Justin Timberlake hints he and Jay-Z will join forces at Wireless

The line-up for this year’s Wireless Festival was announced earlier in the week, which will see Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z headline respectively on Friday, 12th July and Saturday, 13th July.
The stars recently teamed on JT’s first single for six years, Suit and Tie, and the former *N SYNC singer-cum-actor tells Kiss FM that there could be a few surprises in store.
“We’re [he and Jay-Z] both excited, we got on the phone and mapped things out. Who knows who’s going to end up on whose stage. I’m not going to make any promises, but you never know,” he teased, before adding there will be new and classic material on offer.
Tickets went on general sale yesterday, with two-day passes the first to sell out, so news of a potential collaboration at the Olympic Park event will undoubtedly be welcomed by those that were only able to bag a one-day ticket.
Chances are it will happen. It seems illogical not to complement each other while they’re both in the city together, and it supports the pair doing a US-based tour together this summer, which kicks off just days after Wireless on July 17th.
In other festival-related news, Labrinth has been announced as the headliner for this year’s HD Festival in Essex.
