Snow White and the Huntsman official trailer and gallery

Mirror, mirror on the wall…
Poor Snow White (Kristen Stewart) has had a price slapped on her head by evil, the evil queen (Charlize Theron), who wants her dead for being better looking than her.
As good a reason as any, but talk about extremist behaviour.

The huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) has been charged with tracking down Snow on the royal one’s behalf, but his allegiance changes when he finds his target.
Stewart will be scrutinised in every conceivable way possible, following her time in Twilight as Bella Swan, for which she has been deemed a one-trick pony.
Meanwhile, Australian actor Hemsworth is poised to bring in the brutish force that he delivered in Thor.
Theron looks positively vicious as the cold tyrant and she has also adopted a British accent, a requirement of most tales involving swords so it will be interesting what accent Stewart will reveal.
Children’s tales have been reborn recently with new spins on them to entice a broader audience.

This year has seen the release of Beastly, a reworking of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast starring Alex Pettyfer and serial smiler Vanessa Hudgens of High School Musical fame.
Modernised to a high school setting with resident rich boy and general swine turned into said beast. I think you can guess, which of the two aforementioned stars play who.
Sleeping Beauty with Emily Browning, a tale about a girl working in a brothel… Well it’s the same name of the Disney title at least.
And just last year Alice in Wonderland was released starring Mia Wasikowska as the inquisitive adventure hunter and Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter.
Snow White has been produced by those behind Alice in Wonderland and watching the trailer this is plain as day, in fact, I half expected to see the red queen squealing “Off with his head.”
Miss White is clearly the flavour of the month with another adaptation in the pipeline currently titled, Mirror Mirror, which is also set for a 2012 release.
The obvious question is, who’s the fairest of them all?
Check out the trailer below.
