Comedian Leigh Francis is a major character actor, a man rarely seen without a guise of some description, much like fellow British comic Sacha Baron Cohen.

And if it wasn’t for the blatant giveaway in the headline, you’d probably have no idea who Francis actually is, given that he’s hidden behind the ginger tache of sex pest Keith Lemon on Bo’ Selecta! and Celebrity Juice for the past several years.

Celebrity Juice nabbed an NTA and a BAFTA earlier this year, and now Keith Lemon The Film is due in cinemas on 24th August.

Lemon’s silver screen debut will be fresh material that’s totally unrelated to the TV shows, as the northern pervert plays a struggling entrepreneur, moving to London to become a billionaire with a new gadget – the Lemon phone.
