Regardless of what planet or dimension you’re from, anyone reading this should be well aware that this year’s Olympics will take place in London.

To coincide with the athletic extravaganza, sports drama Fast Girls will hit cinemas on 15th June.

When streetwise Shania (Lenora Crichlow) finds herself a new member of a relay team for an upcoming world athletics championship, she clashes with toff teammate Lisa (Lily James), as the two struggle to find common ground with jealousy and the rivalry of sport taking its toll.

Adulthood actor, director and write Noel Clarke stars in the film, which he also co-wrote, alongside Lashana Lynch, Lorraine Burroughs, Dominique Tipper, Hannah Frankson, Tiana Benjamin and Phil Davis, all of whom will be at the red carpet premiere on Thursday 7th June at the Odeon West End, Leicester Square, London.

The starts will arrive from 5.30pm, so be on your marks and get there early.
