Singer/actor Ben ‘Plan B’ Drew makes his directorial debut with gritty thriller, Ill Manors.

Set in the London ghetto, the story focuses on six different characters, each trying to keep afloat of the violence that threatens to drown them.

In addition to writing and directing the film, Drew also narrates. Having grown up in East London himself, he’s familiar with the culture the film covers, while he has urban screen experience following his raw performances in Adulthood and Harry Brown.

Ill Manors hits cinemas on 6th June 2012, and Drew can also be seen in cop thriller The Sweeney later this year.
