Tim Burton’s vampiric comedy Dark Shadows swoops into cinemas on Friday, but first, the London premiere takes place tomorrow night – Wednesday, 9th May – at the Empire cinema in Leicester Square.

Stars of the film Johnny Depp, Chloe Moretz, Helena Bonham Carter and spouse Burton are all expected to attend the black carpet affair.

Depp plays Barnabus Collins, a well-to-do playboy of the 1700s who finds himself cursed by a witch and buried alive. 200 years later and he awakes in the 70s as a creature of the night, totally bewildered by the family that now lives in his former home and the bellbottoms and lapels that greet him.
