Loveable Scot Gerard Butler makes a return to the screen minus a cape or a desire to abide the law as the Machine Gun Preacher.

Based on the true story of Sam Childers, a ferocious, drug-dealing biker who leaves the states in search of inner peace, flying to East Africa to act as a protector of the people.

Pushed by his loving wife Lynn played by Michelle Monaghan, Sam finds God and becomes a changed man as he vows to end the evil tyranny of the Resistance Army, whatever it takes.
