Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, the sequel to the Guy Ritchie directed Sherlock Holmes, returns in time for the Christmas season with cap and pipe in hand.
Robert Downey Jr breathed new life in to the classic series about the snooty detective and has managed to make the character his own, as has Jude Law in the form of faithful, betashed sidekick Dr. Watson.
With a new foe at large, one who’s bonce stashes a brain equally as bright as Holmes but one far more cruel and devious – Dr. Moriarty played by Jared Harris is the new starring villain.
After a royal death, Holmes heads the case and gets his bloodhound face on in order to sniff out clues in a way only he can.
A trek across Europe ensues notching up France, Switzerland and Germany as some of the travel destinations for the creation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Should make for some interesting reviews for Trip Advisor.

I loved the first one and I loved it because of the backdrop of old London… I hope we see more of this and its not all set across Europe. Loved the Tower Bridge scene in the first one
I agree, London is still on the map but how much of it remains to be seen. I’m wouldn’t have thought Ritchie wouldn’t expel The Big Smoke altogether though..
